It was on a whim that today, I happened to look for this site after so many years. I posted here regularly in the very early days of B-KP 1.0. I was actually looking for my post of exactly 8 years ago to the minute, when I watched a plane fly into the World Trade Center and I predicted that bush* now had his war. Even then I was wishing I was wrong.

I live in NE Florida and in 2000 I voted for Al Gore in Duval County. I will never get over my anger that my vote was never counted.

I will be returning more regularly now. I have always admired Mr. Foont's incisive take on current events.

I just read your response to the supposed healthcare expert and am reminded once again why I like your writing so much. With facts and fairness you truly skewered that poor fellow.

Replies are not enabled in your editorials forum so I didn't know where else to post this. Perhaps a "General Comments" section would be a convenient place for discussions like this.
